Time is running out! If you don't register to vote, you won't be able to vote. It's as simple as that.
A general election is due and if you want to have a say on the issues that affect you, you must ensure your registration form is with us by Tuesday 20 April 2010.

Download and fill in a form online from the About My Vote website or telephone our Elections Team on 01992 564411 and they will send you one.
It only takes a few minutes - we need to know about you and your address.
It must be signed and it must reach the Civic Offices by Tuesday 20 April 2010.
Ian Willett, Returning Officer for the Epping Forest District says: "Epping Forest residents have a double reason to register. We have local elections on 6 May 2010 with the possibility of national elections on the same day. Whether your concerns lie in local or national politics, you will still need to make sure you've registered to vote. I don't want anyone to lose their right to vote for the sake of filling in a simple form."
Ian continued: "Just because you pay Council Tax, this doesn't mean you are automatically registered to vote. Even if you think you're on the electoral register it's still advisable to make sure by phoning us 01992 564411. Register to vote now and make sure your voice is heard."
