The Forester is a free quarterly magazine published by the Public Relations Team. It is a fascinating mix of council and community news, features and has an A to Z of the most frequently used council phone numbers. It is sent to all residents in the district.

Distribution of the Forester is carried out by a mix of Royal Mail Door to Door delivery and direct mailing to households on the edge of the District where postcodes straddle the boundaries of neighbouring Councils. If Royal Mail is unable to deliver, alternative methods of delivery by private mailing houses and free-sheet newspapers are sometimes used.
The Forester is edited by the Council's Public Relations Team. Additional content is provided by Carol Leach of CL Communications on a contract basis. If you have news or a story that could be included within the Forester, please contact the editors.
The Forester is produced by Epping Forest District Council public relations in partnership with Rare Blue Media Ltd, a locally based graphic design consultancy. The sale of advertising space within Forester enables the council to keep the cost of production low.
