North Weald Airfield Park and Ride

Day visitors had to check-in at North Weald Airfield, (which also provided long term, short term and over night parking of participant, staff and visitor vehicles), before boarding the free Jamboree Shuttle for the thirteen mile trip to Hylands Park.

Over 400 coaches were used to transport participants with on average a bus or coach arriving or leaving every ten seconds and a car arriving every four seconds at busy times.
